After many years of record success as a Sales Manager and Owner of medical equipment business I started my real estate career in 1999 with one mission in mind “to make a difference in the lives of others.” I discovered how best I could serve people by helping them fulfill the ultimate American dream of home ownership and financial security. It is important to relate to people to understand their wants, needs and visions and transfer that into them being in a home environment that supports and expresses the essence of who they are in the world. My clients have found me to be highly relatable and trustworthy. These are characteristics that I do not take for granted.
My spectrum of clients range from Section 8 home purchasers to Multimillion dollar purchasers and sellers. It is important to me to treat everyone as if they are worth millions. It’s easy when you live your life from a solid foundation. That is the Golden Rule school…treat everyone the way you want to be treated. After all, I have the best clients in the world and they are priceless.
I have become a great resource for my clients because in addition to being a top negotiator I am also a licensed senior mortgage consultant. This allows me to be very creative in structuring transactions. I am also tenacious in servicing clients for life. Although, I have served clients as far away as Little Egg Harbor and Trenton it gives me great satisfaction to see my clients often in the neighborhood while in the grocery store or riding my bike along the beach. Serving in my community brings me a great deal of joy and satisfaction.
Shonda Neal has my been my professional real estate guide to life on the Jersey Shore (and I don’t mean the television program) for the past 7 years. I came to understand the neighborhoods of this 1 mile ocean stretch as a result of her willingness to put in the long hours of showing me around. And really her thoroughness resulted in my decision to make the shore my home. She is smart, knowledgeable about various ways to put a deal together, unbelievably patient and someone who is “there” for her clients as an all around resource.

Shonda, you made shopping for my first home an excellent and exciting experience… I had no idea what I was looking for and you made it your business to show me a large variety of homes — from condos in Jersey City to single family homes in Toms River. Because of your help WE found the perfect home and I am absolutely 1000% sure it is the right one.

Just wanted to let you know what a wonderful experience I had having Shonda Neal as my realtor. Not only was she professional, she went above and beyond what you would expect a realtor to do. I had a short-sale situation which required numerous phone calls to mortgage companies and attorneys. I cannot tell you how many calls she made on my behalf to get things squared away and ready for closing.
I would highly recommend her as a realtor, and have.
It will be almost two years that I am a homeowner… thanks to you.
I love my small home and count my blessings every day.
I am grateful to you for your hard work and support so that I may have a dream come true.

I have had the honor of knowing Shonda for many many years now, both personally and professionally. As a mortgage broker, I have access to many realtors….so I know a good realtor when I meet one.
I own a small rental property in Asbury Park and when all others either dropped the ball, or just simply were not interested, there was Shonda. When thieves broke into my house and stole all of the copper pipes, letting water flood the entire house, there was Shonda……..with her Uncle the Plumber……..when a tenant left unexpectedly, there was Shonda with a new tenant (lease in hand…signed). I cannot count on one hand the amount of times she has been there for me…..emergencies big and small. Shonda is connected, knowledgeable and most of all, she gets the job done. When it comes time to sell the house, I know who I’m calling!

When one door opens another one closes. As first time homebuyers, we were filled with hopes, dreams and anticipation. Both my husband and I are cosmopolitan and very well traveled. So moving to suburbia had to be the right fit in many ways. Right fit starts with the right real estate agent.
Finding the right real estate agent is kind of like a marriage. We dated a few, but there was no chemistry. Until one day we met Shonda. Upon meeting Shonda immediately there was chemistry. We felt she had our best interest at heart. It was love at first sight!
We loved the vibe of Asbury Park. We were determined to buy a house after many months and multiple contracts. Shonda worked relentlessly to determine our wants and needs. She is always positive, accommodating, and generous with both her time and knowledge. I guess you could say we were not easy, but rather, difficult and demanding. Already, this was a marriage made in heaven! You see, I always get what I want, and I got the house of my dreams.
Today, 10 years later, my life has changed tremendously, Shonda is still in my life, and for that I am grateful.
One door to my life has closed, my Teddy died the day I moved in, but, there are so many wonderful doors that have opened.
Today, and everyday, when I run down my staircase in the morning, I have this overwhelming happiness… that this house has given me, and continues to give me on a daily basis.
And I know, deep in my heart, if it wasn’t for Shonda, and her undeniable dedication, I would still be looking for the dream instead of living it……
