Another very hot – very cool weekend. So,truth be told, last weekend was on of those rare occasions when Patti and I spent time outside of Asbury Park. We were up in Saratoga Springs, NY, a very cool quaint city to attend performances of Opera Saratoga. My son Dan’s girlfriend, Bevin Hill, was part of the cast. For those of you who know me, I am an “opera rookie” but really enjoyed both shows. Remember that name: Bevin Hill. This very talented young woman is on her way and will join up with the Arizona Opera in September (stay tuned!). We headed out Sunday morning and quickly returned to Asbury Park in time to catch John Sabastian at McLoone’s Supper Club. Too many great things going on in AP to stay away too long.
And it’s Sandblast weekend. This is our annual GLBT beach party weekend that includes the nationally recognized SandBlast dance/party on the Sunset Avenue beach on Saturday afternoon. Parties all over the city- all weekend. Go to www.sandblastweekend.com for details. Huge!
