I have to apologize to all of you that get the weekly event listings since, I sent out last week’s listing again. My friend Bruce Bollerman referred to it as the “Déjà Vu” weekly events list. Sorry, forgive me. I need to take some time off and come up for air. So, let’s put last week behind us and get an early start on this weekend.
Usually, I ‘m all about the music but this weekend it’s almost totally about film! I am so excited to announce the 10th Annual Garden State Film Festival arrives this weekend. This is one of my favorite events. Asbury Park is proud to be the home of this excellent platform for so many talented filmmakers. One very unique part of this festival is they actually have a designated movie music competition. We all know that most great films are supported with great music. The schedule is way to full to list here, so go to www.gsff.org to preview the lineup. Suggestion: We usually spend significant time prior to the event studying what movies that we want to see. So, I hope to run into you sometime over the weekend. Asbury Park Where Music Lives and this weekend full of amazing film!
